Program Coordinator (Immediately )
Terms of Employment: Part-time / Full-time flexible evenings and weekends
Wage: $14-$18/ hr; hours to be determined.
Start Date: As soon as possible
Experience: Not applicable but preference will go towards those
with experience.
Languages:
-English and Cantonese/Mandarin
Work Setting:
-community-based, local/regional sports club
-non-smoking
-urban location, it is the employee's responsibility to provide own means of transportation
Example Duties of the Receptionist:
-greeting and welcoming members, non-members and customers to the club
-ensuring proper attire is maintained within the perimeter of the club
-maintain cleanliness of the club and pro-shop
-answering telephone calls and inquiries regarding court rentals and lessons
-assist customers with pro-shop items
-manage all memberships, lessons and court rental registrations and provide detailed
invoices for all customers
-accepting payment for the above products and pro-shop items
-log and maintain a detailed summary of all transactions made throughout the day
-any other responsibilities and administrative duties that would be significant in order to maintain effective operations of the front desk
Requirements:
Microsoft Word/Excel: Proficient
Google:Proficient
Above-average knowledge of Badminton
Education: High School or above
Good reading, writing, communication and math skills
Good planning and organizing skills
Work as a part of a team environment but can work independently
Full Time High Performance Badminton Coach
Terms of Employment:
- Permanent, full-time, day, evening, weekend.
Salary:
- $20-$30 hourly, for 30-44 hours per week
Anticipated Start Date:
- As soon as possible
Skills Requirements:

- Credentials: Not applicable
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of coaching experience
Language:
- Speak English, read English, write English
Sports Concentration:
- Badminton
Work Setting:
- Community-based, local and/or regional sports club
Specific duties:
- Assist the Head Coach with High Performance Training program development;
- Participate in training sessions and coach meetings;
- Plan, develop and implement training and practice sessions;
- Develop, plan and co-ordinate competitive schedules and programs;
- Motivate and prepare athletes or teams for competitive events or games;
- Analyze and evaluate athletes' or teams' performance;
- Observe and evaluate prospective athletes' skills and performance;
- Provide feedback to players, parents and the Club;
- May represent the Club in communicating with the Badminton Ontario, the Toronto District
Badminton Association, and participate in their activities.
Work conditions and physical capabilities:
- 20/20 vision, hand-eye co-ordination, standing for extended periods.

Badminton Coach (Richmond Hill Campus)
Terms of Employment:
- Permanent, full-time and part-time, day, evening, weekend.
Salary:
- $15-$25 hourly, for 30 hours per week
